It's insane isn't' it. We've brought in around 130m since last summer yet we still need sell to buy apparently.
Pity we weren't warned how building this new stadium would leave our threadbare squad. It's apparent that almost every penny that we make is going into the stadium. You'd think that the threat of relegation would make them invest a bit more in the team. Or maybe these money men just look long term, and see the possibility of relegation as a blip in a long game.

Villa are in for Gnonto now so we know how that one ends.

We're genuinely going into the season with no new faces and a significantly worse squad that almost got us relegated last season. lol
Have Saif all along - there is next to no chance Gnonto ends up here. I'd be delighted if he did - but it ain't happening and wad never going to.

We don't make any money, we make losses and have done for at least 5 years.

Correct. Cutting costs (wages) is clearly an immediate focus but the level of turnover generated by the club is laughably low. I would assume this will increase significantly when the stadium move happens.

It's not just the stadium costs. All areas of the business have underperformed, the poor league position means less Sky money and we had to lump sum compensate both Lampard and Dyche teams for different reasons.

for my sins i was listening to the Royal Blue podcast last night and it really is grim. No deals imminent, need to sell at least one big asset to make any serious moves and they were suggesting Dom won't be fit for the start of the season. It does feel like what is the point at this stage.
Ive never listened to it, but do whoever hosts that podcast have any sources with good info?
