If links with Gray leaving are real, we need to force that through as quick as possible to move on to our targets.

Right now, we need a Forward, a CM and a CB.

Didn’t realise Adama Traore was a free agent. Not the most prolific but from the RW has a goal/assist every 3.5 games or so (according to transfermarkt). I assume most wouldn’t want him though.

Also James is free. Bring a blue home.

We need 2 forwards 2 wingers 1 centre back and a left back

And an attacking centre mid

And replacements for any outgoings (except for CB where we are stacked with mediocracy)

Blagging we scored in a match thread? Yeah, top class humour.... The BANTZ. Hilarious...

To be clear, it didn't suspend you in isolation - it added to a warning you already had to trigger a suspension.

That is interesting, I never knew how the discipline system worked.
I could never be a moderator, I would have half the posters banned most of the time.

While it would be deeply demoralising if Maupay starts against Fulham, I'd rather the club take a little bit longer if it means getting everything lined up and getting the right player in. The future of our club is at stake here, and that's too important to rush things just to keep fans happy
Id say highly unlikely

He scored 26 goals in the premiership for Brighton over 3 seasons.

Richarlison scored 30 over the same period for us.

Brighton constantly play Danny Welbeck who scored less than Maupay when he was there. We'd never want him here if he was offered.

Point being is that certain players suit certain styles. Maupay was never ever the right fit for us. That still doesn't mean he's not PL quality.
Richarlison was playing out wide more often than not, Maupay was set up with chance after chance as the main striker at Brighton and Rich still outscored him.

He also lost his place to Danny Welbeck, I mean if that doesn't tell you everything you need to know.

Just go and look at the Xg mate, Maupay's is terrible.

i think we all agree that we are waiting for someone to gazump us on gnonto and then we will do a last minute attempt to try and get him but it will be too late again akin to bilal toure saga

its been like 4 weeks and nothing has progressed on gnonto

Danny Welbeck is another player just like I was saying about Weghorst the other day who people laugh at but is actually not bad at all he's had a better career than most Everton players in the last 10 or 20 years thats for sure.

Not even comparable though, Danny welbeck is infinity times better than that big lanky dope.

Weghorst played half a season almost every week for united and still SOMEHOW managed to score 1 goal in that time

Think the only reason we got him was that we were desperate and he was easy to sign (financially and with no competitors).

It sounds to me like Everton don't have the money to make Leeds an offer they can't refuse and Gnonto would like to go somewhere better if he had the choice but the closer it gets to the deadline the more likely it becomes that the player and his club will take what's on offer and he'll come here but obviously that might mean someone else does come in for him in the meantime thats just how the cookie crumbles when you have no money and are fighting relegation every year.

He cost £15m, you can’t tell me there weren’t better players at that price anywhere in the world. Don’t care what the “down payment” was.

I'd say Welbeck is average to be fair, not good but not bad.

But if he's average and he ousted Maupay, what does that say about Maupay?
