Anyone want to give a breakdown who've seen him?

I notified scout 5 and scout 6 whose job it is to scout Serie A for about 12 monts mate. Feedback from the bottom of the line to the top of the line (which is where I sit) said he could do a job and we should mull, ponder and muse over considering emailing them with a proposal to propose some kind of proposition which doesnt involve real money.

I saw more or him in France, but have seen him in Italy too. He isn't clumsy. He has nice close control, a decent turn of pace, is strong and has developed into a good finisher. I used to think that he sometimes snatched at chances when he was in France, but he's been really composed in Italy.

These are his stats for the year compared to strikers in the top 5 leagues. For me, he passes both the eye and the stats test, which is why I want him.

Just a thought but what about Mason Greenwood? Yes I get his behaviour was disgusting that caused his suspension as a player but we do need a striker.

They only bought him 4 weeks ago for 12m Euro, strange that they would want to sell him so soon but I suppose if they can flip him for a decent profit it may be seen as sensible from a financial perspective

and then we bid 16 M EUR lol. never going to happen this way. There was a release clause of 25 M euro which expired recently.
so depending on how interested they are in Maupay will determine if we succeed. Maupay's book value would still be like 10M GBP as he was signed for 3 years with an option for another year. GET THIS DONE !!!

The sad thing is that we can’t afford to buy even Che Adams unless we sell.

Thats why we are wasting other clubs time with these shadowy ‘loan with an option to buy’ offers.

Its as grim as its gets I’m afraid.
