I'm completely despondent over that Dyche interview.

For me that's been set up by the club: send Dyche out there to deliver the bad news ahead of the window shutting. Manage the discontent. Hard truths being laid down to stop the build up of uncontainable levels of fury.

It's utterly sickening. The whole of that organisation is unrecognisable to me.

We are an at an all time low in terms of levels of optimism. This is a joyless slog day after day, season after season.

They are despicable people at Everton Football Club. I'm beginning to not care anymore.

The protests should never have stopped. Goodison needs to be absolutely full of banners next week against Sporting.

Which is fine,

but when there has been numerous reports about bheaviour while on loan, spending all his time in night clubs etc.
His coping mechanism? He's no doubt aware what that injury did to him long term. One minute he's at Everton a potential stepping stone to greater things, now being loaned out on the way down. Think if it was me I might hit the bottle.

Thelwell is boarding on Kenwright levels of fume.

The man is doing nothing. I understand you don't get your first target but you have a Plan B, C, D etc.

He is completely fishing in the dark. You can argue he doesn't have the money but we went for a 21 year old striker who had 12 goals to his career for £30m.

He makes Steve Walsh look competent

I see it going one of two ways this season: people give up...completely; or the opposite and we see real disturbances.

I've stated in the recent past that we shouldn't lose sight of the fact that some teams are in this position for a few seasons and that it's entitlement to believe we cant and shouldn;t experience that. But that was on the basis that we saw the club having a go at stabilising and purchasing with moderate levels of cash players who could make us safe a lot earlier than the final two games of a season.

But what we're seeing is a concerted attempt to degrade Everton with the hope that they can do it and still retain PL status. Well they cant do that.

That joel piroe at swansea slotted twice yesterday. Hes scored alot of goals in a mid table championship side and looks like he is leaving. Is he worth looking at if we were going to spend £25m on a lad who scored 7 goals in spain.
We were only spending £25m on him because his club were willing to let us pay on our less than favourable terms. It isn’t because Everton thought Toure was the best option available for £25m
