Summer transfer window 2023

Dyche is the only thing to have hope in IMO.

Personally think we'll have a messy end of the window but I don't think we'll be in a relegation battle last day of the season job because of Dyche'.

We'll certainly be bottom 6 or 7 though.
If we're not in the relegation dogfight on the last day of the season it'll be because we're already gone. Our only hope is that Dom overcomes his injury nightmare, but that seems unlikely.

To be fair, I don't think that is an unreasonable amount. We'd be asking for at least that if he was our player. I'm sure we could do something with add-ons up to that amount and we'd get him.
Yup, also he is their asset so they can ask for whatever they want for him.

Whether anyone would pay it is another matter.

I’m not sure on Leeds finances but could be a win win , stick a big price tag on and make a decent bit or it deters bidders and he plays a massive part getting them back up.

See below - what would you do if you were KT?

- EBT chose Atalanta
- Dia not sold on Everton + Maupay wages an issue
- Gnonto held up as Leeds driving the price up a week before the championship start
- Iheanacho still on tour + Leicester struggling with Piroe deal
- Outgoings could give more room to manoeuvere (wait until mid/late august?)
- 10-12m downpayment is maximum available atm
- Ilman Ndiaye long term target but SU wanting 30m+ despite out of contract next season
- Barkley considered
- Disagreements in the club if we want an experienced CB or young/promising. Will only sign 1 if any

Dia "not sold on Everton". He plays for Salernitana ffs.

Maupay wages -- hes got 2 years on his deal, should offer him a lump sum to cover the difference in 12months time (when many others are OOC).

Iheanacho on tour means absolutely nothing regarding a deal.

Outgoings should have been sealed off already as a matter of urgency. Shaving off amounts were asking to get deals over the line to be able to invest asap.

Barkley would be total and utterly stupid

We need to sell at least 1 CB as it is. We would need to sell 2 before signing anyone. I dont see Godfrey or Keane linked to anywhere.

We need to be actively pushing sales and being imaginative on signings.

They all see us coming from an absolute mile away, don't they? :coffee:

Especially from that source!…

you are paying a high premium for potential at 30m

£30mil makes no sense for any buyers -- unless Italian clubs come into serious money and want to bring home a young international.

The opposite can be said for Iling Junior but hes being valued from 10-25mil euros as well depending on which media source is pushing it.

For £30mil if rumours on fees are true it would mean iling Junior and De Winter for the same cost as Gnonto.

Would allow us to sell Gray and 2 centre backs.
