….Dyche had Reece Welch on the bench a fair bit, including Sunday.

He’s a terrific size, he looks to tower over Simms in that ‘Tunnel Access’ video from the weekend but I saw him bullied out of a game against United U21 some time back and I worry about his competitiveness. Saying that, at just 19 he’s even younger than JB.

Id be happy with Tarkowski, Branthwaite, Welch and an experienced loan player.

I'd genuinely think we'd be mad to not absolute ravage this list of players and look to bring in 6 or 7 of them if they're available. Could very easily fill a lot of needed positions, such as left back, backup CBs and midfield, most importantly though attacking wide players. Pay good money for an out and out striker, fill the rest with decent loans and frees. Even someone like Dembele from Lyon is a no brainer for us at the minute.

FC Midtjylland only recently bought him for £3.5mil - suspect they would want to double that at least and get a hefty sell-on clause involved.
He's been very consistent this season and has a big presence in midfield - but the gap between the Danish Superliga and the Premier League is astronomical. Would probably need a loan to the Eredivisie or Bundesliga before he's ready, and I doubt we have the money to spend for a long-term investment like that.

Yes. But literally any incomings on that front will be better than what've had this season.

Also, I'm very heartened that since Dyche came in he adapted a lot of our players and their belief that they can get goals too. That wont be forgotten next season. I expect our GS to be way above 34 next season, that's for sure. If we get a forward or two who can add 7/8 each then we'll be fine.

Realistically I think a full season from McNeil and Doucoure has shown them capable of 10-12 goals a season.

If we can get a forward with the same input, we are pretty much matching last season on them 3 players.

Personally we need to improve on Gray and Iwobi. Onana and Garner need to get 5 goals each too.

Doucs played 3 full seasons for Watford and never scored more than 7 goals mate.
