Keane is on £80k, Holgate on £70k, Mina was on £120k.

If we could shift Keane & Holgate, and wages saved on Mina = £270k per week plus Transfer / Loan fee for Keane & Holgate.

Replaacing these 3 with Maguire & Brathwaite improves us in a big way.....AND we would be paying less.

4 Centre back options would then be Tarky, Godfrey, Branthwait & Maguire.

Yeah. He bagged 10 goals didn't he? Didn't even play regularly and upset Moyes. Then got shifted out the next season.

He actually did pretty well numbers-wise considering he hadn't even come from the Championship, he'd jumped straight up from League 1.

How did that pan out?

We came second that day losing to a newly promoted team that went on to win the league that year, who then won the European Cup for two years in succession. Us, we then went on a 21 game unbeaten run. The "good times" perhaps Bill refers to. Now those were the days.
