I dont think he does. Watch him when he gets the ball: zero thought about linking up or feeding anyone else.

That's fair enough if you're Shearer or Haaland, but not when you're Gnonto.

I saw several occasions today when he played some quick sharp link up play but I have only seen him play a handful of games so sample size is small. We are crying out for an intelligent footballer. We have had so few in recent years

If there’s any substance to this latest ‘story’ then I could see big Dunc coming back. He was the guy that transformed DCL from a £1.5m bambi to a proper old skool centre forward. Chermiti is almost a carbon copy of Dom at his age so could be real value in bringing Dunc in to work closely with him

Watched Gnonto today and not bad not great but it was Summerville that caught my eye. Tricky, intelligent (goes down far to easy though) and made Leeds tick

It's impossible to judge whether this signing makes sense without knowing the budget and what else will get done. It's the sort of signing we should be making in an ideal world but if it prevents us from doing the business we need for the season ahead then 12 million for a project seems like an indulgence.

I do (I think) have enough faith in Thelwell that he wouldn't blow the budget on a punt so hopefully it's a sign there's more in the tank to get the signings we need before the deadline.

I am 50/50 on him still played his part in the two windows, even tho not fully to blame. But this window is massive the players in so far i can understand but he has to bring more in. Then i feel could get better view of him

I'm sure he's a skillful player with bags of potential, but his height worries me. Never a CF if he cant be a threat in the air. Definately not the physical presence we would hope to see in an Everton side.

I always feel that when its quiet and not much happening, the high jinks start.

If there was anything worth talking about it would be front and centre and on everybody's lips.

But the Mods do not take any prisoners in Transfer Windows, so I may suggest people limit the trolling or prepare to face the Hammer.

Seemed to be in the middle up front during the 2nd half. Made some real nice runs with the ball into the box and it took a nice save to prevent him from making it 2-2. I like him though he is small so there are some limitations in his game.
