Despite sitting in 8th, Everton have endured their worst-ever Premier League campaign at home in the 2020/21 season.
The Toffees have played their 19th home game of the season, and after the table has been corrected to give teams three points per win, Everton have ended with their second-worst record in the club’s history.
Only in the 1957/58 season did Everton do worse (1.14 PPG) than they did this season – winning an embarrassing 1.16 points a game – totalling to 22 points in 19 games.
If only the home table would be considered for this season, Everton would find themselves in 15th place with a goal difference of -4.
Conversely, they would be 4th in the away table – ahead of Chelsea and Liverpool – and on 37 points with a +8 goal difference.
Need the Goodison magic
Not having fans this season has impacted Everton more than the other Premier League stands.
