Other than Young, all good ages. Chermiti for the future at 18, but Danjuma and Harrison at 26. Beto is 25, Ekitike (who feels like the most made up one) is 21. It does make you wonder why there is very little rumour with Iheanacho, given his age….there must be clubs that would surely be after them like Brentford (even if only on loan) as they lost Toney.

….Chermiti is 19, he turns 20 next May.

Morning mates and welcome to the 14th of August Everton transfer 💩 show…..

Everton have completed the signing of Jack Harrison on loan for the season from Leeds United, according to David Ornstein. The Athletic journalist reported via the outlet’s website in the early hours of Monday morning (14 August) that the Toffees had completed a deal for another “key target all summer” with the 26-year-old winger a priority out wide along with fellow loanee Arnaut Danjuma.

Everton are thought to have already seen a £20 million offer rejected for Leeds’ Wilfred Gnonto. That’s according to a recent report from Football Insider, who claims Leeds United will not even consider selling their highly-rated 19-year-old for less than £25 million. With the Premier League side thought to be just £5 million away from forcing their Championship rivals to consider negotiating, Everton’s hierarchy must now decide if they want to put in a second and improved offer for one of their manager’s top summer targets.

Mason Holgate is “keen” on leaving Everton on loan to Southampton amid talks between the two clubs over a deal, according to Sky Sports. The broadcaster reported via their website on Sunday (7.21pm update on 13 August) that there was still a “big gap” between the Toffees and the Saints over the percentage of his wages the Championship are willing to contribute, but the 26-year-old wants the move “having struggled for first-team football”.

There is currently a gap in the percentage of wages #saintsfc are willing to contribute and what Everton want.

Although Everton are open to a loan, their preference is to sell.

Others interested. (Mark McAdam)

Manchester United are reportedly considering a move for Everton midfielder Amadou Onana, according to the Daily Mail. Juventus are also said to be monitoring the 21-year-old Belgium international, who caught international attention during the Qatar World Cup.

Everton want to find a replacement for defender Mason Holgate before letting him move on this summer, according to talkSPORT. Southampton are holding talks to try to loan Holgate, however they do not have an agreement on the amount of his wages they would pick up during the spell.

Demarai Gray is “likely” to be sold by Everton now that Jack Harrison has been signed on loan, according to The Telegraph. The newspaper reported via their website Sunday (13 August) that the Leeds United winger, 26, undergoing his medical the same day, “will arrive on Merseyside on loan”, and current Toffees wide man Gray, 27, is therefore expected to leave.

According to journalist Alan Nixon, Leeds United are the latest side to join the race for Tom Cannon. The Whites are in need of attacking reinforcements after the departure of Rodrigo, while Jack Harrison is closing in on a move to Everton and Wilfried Gnonto and Luis Sinisterra look set to follow him out the exit door after they were left out of the squad for Saturday's 1-0 defeat at Birmingham City.

What saga is Bill going to cause today by briefing 5 different sources 5 different stories to distract from the continuing failure to bring in a striker. Reckon it’s Al’s turn to be absolutely done over by his EFC informant, Snill Benwright.

Starting to hinge on how quickly McNeil and Harrison can be fit. Going to be Danjuma and Iwobi until then, but once everyone fit surely we are ok including Dobbin as wide cover. If we are very very tight on funds, they should be diverted to someone like Iheanacho right now who is literally ready to start and score for us at the weekend. If we need further wide cover we can look for cheap or loans. Seem to have it back to front at the moment and all eggs in the Gnonto basket with a final day loan for probably old donkey striker.

Couldn't agree more. It's all about staying in the division. Iheanacho would easily score 10 goals minimum in this team. £10-15m if he's available for that we should be all over it. Until at move into the new place, just staying in the league is good enough, sadly.

I hope we are actively trying to get rid of Iwobi, don't think I can take another full season of him, really poor on Saturday, last year of his contract, praying one of the Saudi teams come for him

Need to pull our finger out an seal these deals. Palace about to have a huge windfall from Olise. Would not be surprised if they went after Gnonto. Still a lot of clubs looking for strikers, Saudis back in for Mitrovic. Going to be a lot more competition from more attractive clubs who will also be able to blow us out the water financially . . .

He seems to be the main man under the new manager so is getting game time now.

Still Championship though and only has 1 year left on his contract. I’m also surprise that Ndidi is still there as well. I’ve not seen his more recent stats although at one time they were up there with Idrissa’s.

All depends on how ambitious they are as individuals, we all saw how quickly they downed tools last season on Brenda (even if he is a little goblin)

Our next signing having his medical
