I just feel that whoever we go for, we are inviting more competition the longer we leave it, and it is for the one position we most desperately need.

They signed Raul has a replacement for Mitrovic - it's unlikely they'd sign another with the same profile on top of all the wingers

Yeh, general ineptness. There is no way we are risking everything by trying to save a few quid. A couple of places higher in final league placings is worth more than the wages of a striker.

I’m convinced we signed him just to make our players feel boss and dead confident after slotting 28 per day past him in training. It hasn’t worked.
