No, but if Mitrovic goes they will need a replacement. Big strikers who are well thought of are not exactly out there in their droves, as we well know.

I just feel that whoever we go for, we are inviting more competition the longer we leave it, and it is for the one position we most desperately need.
They signed Raul has a replacement for Mitrovic - it's unlikely they'd sign another with the same profile on top of all the wingers

What do we need now?

Holgate to go.
Sulumana on loan
A striker
Gray to leave
Another centre back.
A reserve goalkeeper seemingly

Yeh, general ineptness. There is no way we are risking everything by trying to save a few quid. A couple of places higher in final league placings is worth more than the wages of a striker.
It is just an old myth
half a million is not a few quid been open since June 14th with 2 weeks to go, players were supposedly looking at 50k a week?, i get what you are saying and I agree but Id be surprised if we get a CF in before the very end of August that will have missed minimum 3 games and then wont be Dyche fit to play unless they think DCL will be ready for Saturday or Wolves at the latest

Club probably willing to go into the second game with Maupay as main striking option.

Being provided once again by the erratic show pony Iwobi and supported by Doucoure. Not hard to see why we don’t score any goals is it?

Joint bottom of the table with 0 pints from 6. You could bet your mortgage on it.

We aren't the only club trying to sign important players after the first game anyway.

Wonder when McNeil is back and shouldn't we be starting Danjuma upfront ?
