Selling Onana would just mean there was one more signing we needed to make to get a decent team out on the pitch and time is running out for them to do the deals they already needed so I wouldn't even think about it.

Virginia didn't do well on his last loan at all he got dropped in January and didn't play at all in the second half of the season he was being kept out of the team by a goalie who was Sunderland's reserve when they were in league one! I've said a few times I don't feel comfortable with Virginia as the second choice because all the signs are that he's not good enough but I wouldn't be any happier with Alex McCarthy either.

Well their fans seemed quite happy with him early on. Didn't look into it after that as I presumed he would not be coming back.

Absolutely zero point in signing a worse goalkeeper than Virginia, just because he's an old pro though.

I agree I wouldn't sign McCarthy myself because he's not any good but I would like a better goalie I think Virginia is probably the weakest substitute goalkeeper in the league.

They value him at McTominay at £55/60m so they won’t be adding money to it.

Nah, we need younger, not another 'okay' PL player on one last big payday that we won't shift on.

Should make Utd pay through the nose, absolutely refuse them offloading their dross to us like they always do, and use the money to invest in young talent.
