Yeah I know what you are saying, I'm not adverse to putting McNeil there at LB with Danjuma at LW and hopefully Beto/Dom up top and Harrison at RW then Young at RB. I'm not convinced anything will happen with Sulemana, could help if it did though.

We need so much more work than just 1 or 2 signings. The squad is a complete joke right now with about only half a dozen players who are good enough for this level.

The lack of urgency to improve things makes me pretty angry
Everyone involved in the running of the club should be mortified at these forward options and absolutely desperate to improve things. Instead we got yet another shambolic summer with a team totally unprepared for the first game.
I ask it all the time, but where is the accountability. If there are no consequences for losing football matches we will keep losing football matches. No one at Everton cares enough about losing.

Reminds me maybe a little bit of Isak? With his pace I wonder if when DCL is fit he could play as an unorthodox winger as Isak has done?

The problem is a frantic deadline day is historically what we have done with Blue Bill in charge, FellinI, Lukaku, McCarthy, Barry and I think merralis probably more are all deadline day signings. Unfortunately in the days of Moyes (whatever you may think of him, dithering davie etc) at least he did his homework and generally got the right player, Bobby brown shoes I think got lucky and thing fell into place for him with Lukaku and Barry
For years and years we’ve been asking the club to move early and get players in and settle the squad for preseason but it seems Bills penny pinching with wages has carried over into the clueless new regime
