Well I would be surprised if Dembele got more than 10 and Wout more than 3. If that is what we are investing in to improve our forward line and Dyche continues to play his beloved Keane, the Championship will not be far away.
That would be 10 more goals than our current CFs got this season. That’s 3/4 wins and comfortably mid table.

Just seen this. Never heard of him so looked him up. Unfortunately his name is double the tally of goals he's scored in the Scottish Championship, so seems like exactly the kind of striker we'd go for

I was convinced in James Beattie we had signed the next Alan Shearer. I sharing a house with a Saints fan at the time and he was certain he was going to be the next great English striker. lol

Me and you both mate. My mates back garden used to back onto Jason dodds house and he even said ( Dodd) that Beattie should be starting for England In a couple of years …. He then moved to us and the rest is history lol

There’s no way we sign Weghorst. Dyche couldn’t utilise him at Burnley, plus he’s not suited to the PL.

If he does sign and the rumours are true then again it raises massive questions about our recruitment policy and the fat kopite sitting at the top

We are stuck in an endless cycle of trying to get crap off the books, then adding more crap

Exactly. The only way we improve is by singing better players than the ones we have. Adding more tosh like weghorst isn’t gonna help us to keep relegation at bay.
Is it the louder we sing the better the players or do we just sing better players names?

i understands the club are pitching for at least two new strikers and are targeting full-backs

Would be correct in my opinion.

Add fullbacks who aren't terrible/can offer a threat going forward, and a couple of strikers to give us goals and with Dyche we should survive next season.

I’d take Dembele and Weighorst right now as
A) Dyche would probably do ok with them
B) they are better than Simms and Maupay in terms of a presence and a goal threat.
C) in terms of next season I think their goals would comfortably keep us up.
Furthering on from B as well, aside from wages we'd likely profit or at least break even on bringing those 2 in and shipping out Maupay and Simms given Dembele is free and Weghorst wouldn't cost much at all.

Low blood pressure is the actually reason, never had a heart attack after he fainted in Training
The fact he couldnt get in the side in an average league and was kept out by an old Lacazette would be more of a worry to me than his ticker mate. Again a definite no from me.
