So we shouldn’t go for that arsenal kid who was at lens or Reims or wherever it was, because the French league is pony. That’s what you’re implying, right?
Why am i implying that mate? Im talking about one player whose last season was terrible. Anyway hope you have a wonderful day.

This is the kind of player we should be signing and selling Onana for the reported £70m.

Get him and another 2 lads in for the same price… spread out the risk, increase the squad size and spend the remaining funds on a decent striker

So sell the potential stars and buy worse older players to make the team lower in quality but bigger in quantity...then bring in a striker with the money left over?

I wouldnt do that.

One of the worlds best ball playing centre backs.

He's a Man City signing on paper.

You are saying that lacazette keeping dembele out and scoring and assisting almost one a game should be a worry for signing dembele because the French league is BS so lacazette as numbers should almost be discounted. (Dembele scored 3 in 800 mins.. better than 1 in 3 full games of footy fyi,)

following your rationale the arsenal kids stats should also be discounted because he plays in the same pony league.

Ever considered lacazette wasn’t suited to arsenals style, and finally he is back in a team that plus to his strengths?

Yeah, but once he hears Everton are after him he'll only have eyes for us. Who wants to win a treble when you can enjoy a treble of relegation escapes.

For me I would like us to find some real pace and mixture of youth in the side to help aid our weaknesses in counters.

I think we need to find 5 positions this summer:
Left back, Centre Midfielder, Right Winger, Striker and Back up Striker

Left Back - This player highly rated at Fulham but since he moved to Spurs, he has stuttered.and have been out of favour.

Ryan Sessegnon - pacey, young but still plenty of experience who can play at range of positions down the left. I can see him and McNeil complimenting each other well.

Centre Midfielder - We have been linked to him quite recently and rumoured to have made a bid so a quick search of him, we have a 23 year old midfielder who is very much from the Brighton playbook.

Emiliano Martinez - A real number 6 type player who we have needed since Barry left. He has a good range of passing and plenty of energy which is needed.

Right Winger - Again we need a out and out winger who can provide goals and assists but also need plenty of pace for those counter attacks.

Ismaila Sarr - Another solid season in the Championship with 10 goals and 6 assist. The one time January target who had a bid turned down under Dyche. Sarr is perfect from us and the time is perfect for Watford to sell especially with another season in the Championship.

Striker - We need a forward who will play as Target man because we can't rely on DCL so we need a young but experienced striker who will compete with DCL too.

Viktor Gyokeres - Has been linked all season and he has all the attributes we are looking for. Granted he has played at times left sided forward and he hasn't that Premier League experience but he has proved for 2 season to be consistent in front of goal and now he has to step up

Backup Striker - I think we need to find a youngish forward who will be happy to play a bit part in next season but we are also willing to give time without being too expensive or too high wages

Raul Garcia - 23 year forward from Betis who played on loan for Mirandas. 19 goals in 39 and he has very similar status to DCL when he first joined.

What are you on about??? Have a day off eh mate?

He’s 23 Zat, you make him sound like he’s 32!!

Hardly going to be drawing a pension soon

I’d take Dembele and Weighorst right now as
A) Dyche would probably do ok with them
B) they are better than Simms and Maupay in terms of a presence and a goal threat.
C) in terms of next season I think their goals would comfortably keep us up.
Goals how many did weghorst get at united? What hopes he got here? Honestly if we sign him we’re in the same position as the last 2 seasons only this time no striker will finally cost us. Don’t want him for free and not taking a wage He is absolute turd yes that would make him fit into our squad but we need to get away from these poor players.
