If there's any truth to this (and this guy usually chats utter wham), then this would be outrageously poor by the club again. Not good enough, too expensive, too old (especially for the cost) and having to sell, only to reinvest in dross.

It's going to be an interesting window,but possibly not in a good way.

Too early to tell, although the concerns are justified. We need to build the squad and likely on a wafer thing budget, with players already departing.

Mina for example: he may be injury prone and his wages will never been low, but we’re unlikely to get a defender of his quality on the cheap.

The problem is it is likely a no-brainer for him to reject us.

Why? He’s leaving Mainz not Real Madrid. There won’t be many clubs in for him that can match PL wages if we do make an offer.

My concerns are based on Dyche's statement on pace and power,so few of the players currently under contract fit that profile and doubt there will be enough money available to address it with any hope of success. We don't know if Mina would have ever stayed whatever he was offered but Dyche stated he identified some of the main reasons why the injuries were happening and Mina did stay fit for the important run in games. Beginning to look as if Dyche is just saying what we want to hear without any hope of implementation. Hope I'm wrong.

We won’t be signing a better player than him - he’s a decent player.
