Simms is a good deal if we get 4/5 mil for him, wouldn’t be paying 25 for Gyokeres though let the Portuguese have him for that price.
I dont mind the price is even lower if we can add a buy back clause in the deal. Simms and Cannon are all going brilliant in the future.

My 14yo reckons he is ITK, just sent me this "Did you here we could be signing a Leeds duo of Wilfred gnonto and Jack harrison".

I think Harrison is an upgrade on likes of Iwobi so yep, but Gnonto is shorter and angrier than MrsB (both take some doing) so I'd swerve.
You do know he'll gain weasel status on here if these transfers don't come off...just warn him this.

He's got that status in our house mate , it wont put him off. He's sent me a few texts like this and then 24-48 hours later I see it in bbc or whatever (gossip).

I can forgive him as he makes great pizza.

No problem. And you're right...10 between them is a little skinny. Just hard to imagine a bigger figure. My main point was that we don’t know who they will be providing assists for....centre forward is where we need the big numbers. Like (gulp) 15
Definitlly!
My main gripe is i'm not hot on spending almost £20m on someone like Harrison when his numbers are no better than the players we already have at the club.

Don’t let Sky Sports propaganda fool you, brighton may be in europa next season, but they’ll be in the championship within 5 years after all their stars are poached. Everton will always be a bigger club than Brighton
I dont necessarilly disagree with this.
They have a big 18 months coming up!
They have done brilliant in tetms of recruitment but when you have a strategy you can sometimes go to far with that type of thing and get lost in actually signing good players because of stipulations you set yourself.

From what i've seen of the players they are bringing in or are linked with.....they are getting in a decent mix (Dahoud for experience, Joao Pedro is good and trying to get Colwill back, im not sure on a 20 year old goalie though)

It could all go wrong also though...Chelsea could keep Colwill, Dahoud may not settle, the goalie could have a Mellier/Bazunu type seaon, Joao Pedro may not fit well

If we do buy Harrison then I'm assuming that'll be based on more than the numbers....you know, work ethic, attitude and influence around the team, all that...Next season will be all about graft, I think. So sooner Harrison than, say, Ward Prowse...But sooner a goal scorer than anybody

We brought him back because we were desperate and seemingly couldn't afford another striker. I agree he should have been given more of a go but we don't see training and seen as Dyche didn't play him much, neither did Lampard or Carlo I think it's safe to say he isn't ready.

He showed promise at times with his finishing and vision but he's miles off this level in terms of hold up play and pressing and pace, the position we are in we can't afford to wait we need more proven and or players with a higher ceiling. It's a good deal if we sell him. He might develop into a decent player I've heard some say he's better in a two up front, but we don't play that way or have the luxury of keeping him. If we want a third option developing Cannon is probably a better bet as he is younger and shows more mobility.
I did think it a bit strange how simms' only starts were at Anfield and Old Trafford. 2 of the most difficult grounds to go to for any team and 2 grounds were we, as a team, normally get our pants pulled down.

i seriously dont want gyokeres. he will cost us 20 million for a Championship striker who relies on his physicality meaning hes probably in for a rude awakening when he gets to the prem where the cbs can match him for strength. I would much rather sign a player whos coming in from one of the other big leagues whos got goals to his name.
My preference in order:
Dia
Beto
Toure
I would bite your arm off for Wahi or Balogun but theyre probably off to bigger fish
