I like Ndiaye and I acknowledge that there is more to him than goals and assists. But I just need to point out that he's another player we'd have to spend big on who is both older (ie probably less development potential) and had a lower rate of goals and assists per minute played in the championship than Simms who we swear isn't good enough.

I don't know on Simms. I do find it interesting that people can get hyped up for a bunch of guys who weren't better at the same level just because they have fun names or whatever. More likely people are just falling for the shiny new toy. What concerns me is our manager and DOF probably do the same thing.

I think they're about the same age but, you're right, we can't afford the sort of fee he will command

I think that is a myth tbh

I remember watching MOTD analysis where it showed our wingers creating tons of chances and our attackers (ok, it was mainly Maupay. Not sure that counts) were standing still and not getting into attacking positions.
