The problem is we can't waste the summer chasing him like we did with Broja. Easier to just move on to another target (knowing us though we won't have one) Let Cov get stuck with an unhappy player who they will end up giving away in January for sod all because he isn't pulling weight due to not getting his move.

CB - Tarkowski, Holgate, Keane, Godfrey, Branthwaite
RW -
LW - McNeil
CM - Onana, Doucoure, Gueye, Garner, Gbamin, Gomes
AM - Iwobi, Gray, Alli
CF - Calvert-Lewin, Maupay, Simms

Contract offers - Lonergan (GK), Coleman (RB), Davies (CM)

22 players, 24 if Coleman and Lonergan renew, but that includes Gbamin, Gomes and Alli who, I think we all agree, are unlikely to feature.

That is incredibly thin, with only CM and CB with any numbers and it's definitely quantity over quality at CB.

If we are sell to buy I can't see past an Onana sale. It needs to happen soon.

They won't accept anything less than £30mill. Us spending upwards of £20mill on him isn't smart. Especially when Moussa Demebele is available for free.
