Brighton achieved stability under Hughton, played more expansively and with more ambition under Potter then began to show some class under DeZerbi. As I said earlier, if Dyche can get the first part of that progression sorted then we should all be happy
Which is what Bournemouth are hoping to do with O'Neil as their Hughton. The idea that DeZerbi makes Potter look bad is weird to me. Potter was the King Phillip to his Alexander, the same as Hughton was to Potter.

By most accounts Wolves are running into much the same problems as us right now after year of chucking money about and letting an agent tell them what do do (sound familiar?). The Neves money is a bit of a rescue for them but realistically only just covers the crazy deal they struck for Cunha, for whom they have an obligation to buy for 45m this summer.

I'm not defending Everton but I think the way FFP is structured to protect certain clubs we are the first but not the last down the path we've been down, Wolves look to be next and I'm sure others will follow.
Supposedly selling that Nathan Collins to Brentford aswell..

As depressing as this thread is let's not forget how entertaining the relegation thread will be next March when Luton go 1 nil up against Palace and any amount of grown men lose complete control of their bodily functions on here .
Kev is busy being wrong about cricket with a new death squad who want to see 65 runs a day and five draws, no doubt he will come back for the relegation battle with renewed vigour for his dreadful opinions

If we have actual real money to spend then we may as well just spend it.

The whole FFP stuff is an absolute shambles, what's the worst that can happen?

Supposedly selling that Nathan Collins to Brentford aswell..
Yeah, one of their better young players too and probably one they need to sell rather than want to sell. Their squad looks really thin on quality now and I'm not sure shouts of "you'd rather join Wolves than Everton" have much in them.

I'm not big on buying strikers coming off of a hot finishing season that also happens to be their best season.
Fair enough, I’ve thought he was good for a while now, since his last season at Stade. Think he would do well here, but to each their own
