Other better organised teams taking our targets away from us while we dither and delay and take weeks to sort out boardroom changes that were meant to take 48 hours? Surely not.

Porque no? Look a good player to me. Admittedly, I think there may be bigger fish after him.Boulaye Dia? Probably not a good idea that
I think it is a bit of an unknown how Brightons recruitment works. They have changed both DoF and manager with no ill consequence.I'm not sure spoon fed is the correct way to describe Brighton's slick recruitment strategy, as no doubt as head coach, Potter is a part of that process.
He also achieved three promotions with that Swedish team and got them into the Europa League. Surely that's the very definition of successfully building a squad.
Brighton achieved stability under Hughton, played more expansively and with more ambition under Potter then began to show some class under DeZerbi. As I said earlier, if Dyche can get the first part of that progression sorted then we should all be happyI think it is a bit of an unknown how Brightons recruitment works. I think when you look at what DeZerbi has achieved in his short time there it doesn’t paint potters bottom half finishes in great light.
They have a functioning board and a good CEO plus a focus on scouting and stats plus a path way to the first team including a club they can loan players to, they are very well run in contrast to us.I think it is a bit of an unknown how Brightons recruitment works. Really doesn't feel like there's much to look forward to for us next season does there? We needed that board reset and investment then probably as much as we don't like it a big sale like Onana to start restructuring this squad. Regardless looks like another tough season ahead I just hope we are nearer to lower midtable and not scrambling around again.
They are. I think when they reach the end of their cycle (when they stop being able to buy players so efficiently, as will happen at some point as it has to every other non Sky 6 club) it will be a watershed moment for how utterly rigged the league has become. They have a functioning board and a good CEO plus a focus on scouting and stats plus a path way to the first team including a club they can loan players to, they are very well run in contrast to us.
In January we got 45m for an academy grad who we all know was worth about half that, and then unlike most of the clubs around us didn't waste it on over-priced cack. With hindsight it's arguably one of the best January windows in the league.Crying out for a striker, and ironically enough it looks like we're selling Simms and Maupay (albeit they don't feature reguarly).
I just hope by the time this board is sorted and the sales are done, there's a few quid left in the coffers - and a few players still available.
I honestly think our transfer windows have got worse and worse the last few years. Everton that.
at least next week we should find out about: Davies, Coleman and Lonergan whether they wil renew.
assuming the players report back early July.
also whether we need to do a Richarlisonesque firesale for the closure of the financial year
the wait for news is killing me lol

As depressing as this thread is let's not forget how entertaining the relegation thread will be next March when Luton go 1 nil up against Palace and any amount of grown men lose complete control of their bodily functions on here .
Which ties in directly with the former.I think he’s gone down the we’re skint and crap route more likely mate.
Davies has been offered a 3 year deal by AC Monza in Italy, in the serie A
Everton player ‘concretely thinking’ about snubbing renewal for surprising foreign move - 3-year deal on table - Sport Witness
Everton’s Tom Davies is ‘concretely thinking’ about turning down a renewal at the club to instead move to Italy with Monza. That’s according to Gazzetta dello Sport, who say the Italian side have made a move for the 24-year-old by putting a three-year contract on the table in hope of signing him...sportwitness.co.uk
He comes across well but he has some terrible suggestions. He wanted us to sign that Tall Paul that Southampton did in JanuarySome awful shouts from him maybe the lb plattenhardt on a free but would prefer somebody younger.
