Hope Dyche can beat his aversion to playing youth players, as we may need to see dobbin, cannon, Warrington and Welch in and around the first team next season, looking at our financial situation.

I’m wouldn’t be too displeased by that, truth be told.
It'd be more exciting than bringing in some of the has been saviours we've been linked with

And if a club doesn't want a loan with obligation then the player is stuck at Everton on full wages. At least a loan saves some money if the player is simply not going to get a look in at Everton
Then we stay in the constant mess we are in right now.

Loans should be with obligation ( if the buyers can't afford it straight away ) or loaned for experience like Branthwaite, , Cannon & Warrington.

…..where is his aversion to playing youngsters?

He’ll play his best footballers and if we have to rely on any of the players you identify it’s likely we’ll be in big trouble. Weird how some posters want to select players just because they’re young, even if they’re not good enough.

Is early in the window so is more advantage to us atm, i am sure would still have loan offers late in the window to. Is still a risk giving them holgate on loan then he cones back sith one year left on his deal

Said for years Everton are viewed as a soft touch when it comes to selling.

Mirallas, Niasse, Walcott, Tosun etc.

Even Andre Gomes - we paid over half his wages, apparently 60% for Lille to take him on loan. Little wonder they're asking to take him on loan again.

Compare our approach to getting rid of our 'deadweight' compared to PSG with Gana Gueye.

Balogun for £45. Get it done

If we had a chunk of cash I'd do a Holgate + cash for Ndiaye and also a Gomes + cash for Jonathan David....and bring in Balogun too.

Over £100mil on top of the 2 players though so very unlikely.

The MSP group must surely see value in having Balogun (US) and David (Canada) seeing as along with Mexico theyre 2 of 3 locations for the 2026 world cup.

It is catch 22. I agree with the principle of what you are saying but when it comes to the end of the transfer window and the manager says he doesn't want a player and a club offer a loan that is worth maybe a million or two to the club's finances it would be difficult to say no.

I’m going off his well known aversion to playing youth mate, he’s did it at Burnley for years and at Everton.

I’m not wanting him to select young players per se, although I think they might do a job for us, and id have them well ahead of maupay, holgate, Keane, Gomes etc, who I know aren’t good enough (I have no clue if these young players aren’t good enough btw.)

I’m saying he may have to play them, if our well publicised finances are anything to go by, and I wouldn’t have a problem with that.

Well he will play who he favours for the full 90 mins and avoid tactical substitutions and that can, at times, be troubling. All the poster said was let's hope some fringe squad members are in and around the first team next year. It may be weird of me but I would prefer that Cannon, for example, is given some sort of chance rather than, say, Weghorst. Obviously if they're young and not good enough then they shouldn't get a sniff

….when you give ordinary footballers extraordinary contracts it’s very difficult to shift them. Clubs wont match their salaries & players are unwilling to lose a fortune, so sit on their deals.

I would, playing a bunch of kids who will probably play the majority of their careers in League One and Two wont end well.
