He was fantastic in that loan spell though. It's still one of the maddest things we've ever done not playing him at all the next season in favor of a combo of guys like Bernard and Walcott. A suicidal level of shortsighted thinking not to mention Bernard just being straight terrible from day one.
He sulked and threw a tantrum because we wouldn’t sell him to Leipzig in that summer. He didn’t get played because every time we did play him he walked around with a titty lip on him like a spoilt brat, and probably did the same in training throughout the week. Then again you don’t watch our games and just look at Wikipedia so you wouldn’t have noticed that.

Of course, and I know this is one league higher....but i think he was playing league games at 19/20 age...while Tyrer will turn 22 this coming season and to be in non-league again isnt ideal.
Would have hoped hed be at a league club based on his performances last season.

He was right. We signed two players in his position and he shouldn't have been expected to watch them play instead especially when he was miles better than one.
It's ok, we're getting more and more accepting of the gross mismanagement of the club but there are always going to be blind spots.

Emiliano Martinez had played 1 game for Oxford by the age of 21
If that is the problem in terms of hoping he got a loan a league up.........maybe the club should of loaned him out a year earlier
I am probably more vocal about the gross mismanagement of the club than anyone else on here but this Lookman thing you’ve got is really weird. He wasn’t good enough, had a bad attitude and we sold him. 5 years later he’s starting to come good in a league where Ciro Immobile looks like a world beater. Get over it.

We played a guy who wasn't good enough for the Greek league, one legged Yannick Bolasie and wasted a ton of money to add Theo Walcott instead. It's a mistake that has had long term damage as we still desperately try to find competent wide players. For a club that finds no talent to find talent and then proceed to fire it into the bin with reckless abandon will always frustrate me!
You think Alex Iwobi is talent though who plays every game and continues to prove he’s abysmal.

Lookman would come off the bench and look really exciting, then the following game we'd all be delighted to see his name on the starting 11, yet 30 minutes into that game we'd all be demanding the manger to drag him off because he was useless when he started. He makes Demarai Gray look consistent haha!

Pickford was playing in the Prem at 22 to be fair. Zat is a headcase but he’s got a point here, a keeper playing in non league at 22 probably isn’t going to make it as a Premier League player.
He's also not over 28 so Dyche probably hates him based on that alone anyway.

Iwobi was by any measure one of our better players last season. A club where Iwobi is a bad signing and player isn't fighting relegation.
