Gray might have pace, but he does nothing with it, mate. Probably the most frustratingly inconsistent player in the squad. Produces moments of magic 2, maybe 3 times a season - and that's it. Gordon was another one with pace, and he was kack as well. Might as well sign Usain Bolt haha.

just mate every team has/needs pace ( to me )

Remind me, how did his numbers in the PL compare to those in Italy?
Id rather get ball cancer than bring back that petulant child. The exact type of player we need to avoid.
You won't have to worry about it we naturally avoid young and talented players a vast majority of the time and on the occasion we do get one we do everything in our power to not have them develop further.

He was nowhere near the finished article at Everton but he was a teenager in his first season playing in the top flight. He was literally a child.

I never understand the fume at players who seem unhappy at Everton, we're a mess as everyone knows. He was clearly very talented and was consistently under-utilised and benched for the likes of Bolasie.

I personally don't mind seeing players sulking and angry that they aren't getting game time. Prefer that kind of personality to the many many players we have signed who are happy to sit on the bench for the duration of their contracts.

The same lookman who got 21 g/a last season? Would love him back personally.

If we're talking bad midget Everton wingers the answer is Bernard.

The same Lookman who, even the fabled Lepzig couldn`t get a tune out of and then bounced around the Prem on loan or a few seasons, until he seemed to find his feet ?

Getting rid of him was 100% the right thing to do at the time, same with Vlasic, who hasn`t exactly gone on to set the world alight.

….bit surprised at that, Zat. Actually wondered if he might be used given the promising reports from Chester last season.

A keeper (or anyone at a premier league side) doing well in effectively non-league probably doesnt count for much.

Looks to me like theyre giving him another year of games there in the hope a league side signs him for a few pennies.
