I think whoever we do sign has to be versatile, with us being skint and having a load of sick notes in the team we need players that can play in several positions.

The only position where we could do with an out-and-out player for that role is no 9.

If we could get a decent (I know) CF, a winger who can play both sides (like Harrison for example), a CM that can play 8/10 (proper nonce using numbers, I know), and a full back that can play both sides, then I think we'd be much better off than where we were, so long as they're of a decent standard (lol).

Agree with all of that except on the full back - we need a specialist left back to upgrade on Mykolenko

At left back it's currently just Mykolenko and Godfrey again at a stretch. Left back is an area we need a proper upgrade, rather than targeting someone like Walker-Peters (good player, granted) who's a right back that could fill in on the left as required

Is that Gnonto right though at 25 million and only 5 foot 6, shouts Lookman to me (who was 5 foot 7) think there is better out there for less

Gnonto has always looked class when I've seen him play.

Feel like Harrison is more of a Dyche player though.

Walker-Peters would be ideal as he is decent in both positions, but I get what you're saying. We defo need an upgrade on Mykolenko.

Walker-Peters would be ideal as he is decent in both positions, but I get what you're saying. We defo need an upgrade on Mykolenko.

I agree but just can't see it happening. Because addressing the weaknesses in other areas is the priority, I think we will start next season with Mykolenko as first (only) choice at left back. At best we may bring in some utility player who can act as cover. Hope I'm wrong
