Player Valuation: £90m
Mad prices these days. One half decent season (not even) and it's 40m

It's off topic though. This isn't a manager thread.I think giving a reasoned opinion won't get you "told off" I was just interested in your statement and which managers you were thinking of.
For 40m though? That seems a massive overpay (although I guess depends on the structure).checks notes....yep
hes on the Zatlist
7 in 21 matches is quite good. It's also a lot to pay for a young player who has missed a bunch of matches due to muscle injuries in the last couple of years.
When I first looked at those stats I was impressed. I thought MP meant minutes played. It’s actually Matches Played so not very impressive.
Probably €40m overall package with every add on counted. If he was signing for Liverpool it'd be reported as €20m + add ons.For 40m though? That seems a massive overpay (although I guess depends on the structure).

Yeah, quite possibly. Also bearing in mind we are probably willing to overpay slightly to pay in instalments. In which case selling Gray for say 15m would probably be more than enough to get him in the door.Probably €40m overall package with every add on counted. £40m for a player who in 5 seasons as a pro striker has never reached double figures and has had serious muscular injuries is a risk (for us anyway)A Goal every 2* games "half decent" ?
*worth of minutes...
Classic Everton that
We must have hundreds of millions to spend if we're happy to splash 30m on a complete unknown quantity striker with a very modest goals return in his career.
Seeing as we need a good backup goalkeeper, a new left back, a centre half, a winger and one further striker to be brought in... can't wait to see if ya spend the 150/200m that would require.
Excellent!

He'd feel at home with us then if he's someone who regularly gets injured haha.7 in 21 matches is quite good. It's also a lot to pay for a young player who has missed a bunch of matches due to muscle injuries in the last couple of years.
Having two high-value strikers who are injury-prone is a big risk. It's not the way I would solve the problem. It's also the sort of profile we agree we should be looking for, this summer, so there's that.So youve only been an Evertonian since after he was linked last summer....
Hes only 21 and looks high potential to me...you not sold?
