Its a food chain tho init.

PL clubs can afford to spend £20m-30m on players whereas clubs like Almeria cannot. Same way we cant spend £80-100m that clubs like Citeh and Utd can.

I find the whole "we should have signed this fella for x amount" often is moaning for the sake of moaning. Where do you draw the arbitrary line in any deal?

Why pay £7m when we could have identified him as an academy player and signed him for 500k ? Or better yet why pay 500k when we could have scouted him as a 6 year old.
Agreed why waste 40 m on a mediocre player. Thelwell and his scouts are the problem here.

Says who ?

Some moaners on an internet forum that no jack about our current finances / whats deals we have in place ?
It's not moaning it's common sense. Do you not want us to make better deals and become more successful? What a weird outlook.

It's fairly obvious we are struggling for money (whether than be actually having none, not being able to spend it or any other reason).

You're another moaner.

We could win a CL and you would moan the tassels on the pot aren't Blue.

Honestly couldn't be arsed watching us if you get zero enjoyment out of anything whats the point ?
Looooooooolz

Says the man who wanted us relegated so he could “go to Wembley for a day out”

Tell us more, but can you pretend you have South African heritage this time, so your posts reflect their dialogue

I suggested in a previous post that we should have took the plunge on El Bilal last summer but it wasn't a moan and more of a suggestion...only 2 things in life I moan about and it's the lack of sauce in the Pot Noodle sachet and people who constantly use the word "nuanced"

We have a tendency on here to read everything as a moan when in essence it's just giving an opinion.

Just go for Beef and Tomato. At least it's easy to add more then.

It is moaning because

1. No one knows our financial situation at present

2. No one knows how good this kid is. If he turned out to be another Lukaku and we sold him on for £70m+ then does it really matter if we spend £30m on him same as Onana.

Some people like to moan mate - we signed Demari Gray for £1.7m and people moaned. We sign Onana for £30m and the same people moan.

Its boring to read 24/7.

It’s extra frustrating this one because I think he’s been a target for a while and was probably on the shortlist that gave us the “safer” option in Maupay. But maybe that was Lampard’s call.

At the same time, it’s all hindsight. You hear about the Onanas and Toures who move for sub 10 then make enough of an impression to go for 30, and wish you’d just got in earlier, but you just never hear about the lads they sign for 7m and do nothing. It’s not guaranteed and it’s all about proving themselves as they work up the ladder.

It's a forum though you'll always find someone moaning about something

You're right but I'd just like us to be abit braver sometimes but giving our financial situation I can why we are hesitant to do certain deals.
