We know that Everton like to dither over targets and let them move cheaply to other clubs, meaning we then buy them for too much money or are priced out the equation, but the day after he's moved is mad even for us . . .

?? Signing Harrison will boost us into a top 10 side?

Not on his own, but add him to a decent CF, LB & CB and I think we have enough.

We're not a million miles away from teams like Brentford & Fulham when you look at what we have when weak spots are filled with better quality / players suited to Dyches way of playing.

I also expect Onana to push on more this season and hopefully Patterson can start to emerge at RB.

Is Broja still injured? We was linked loads last year
He did his ACL playing in a mid season friendly against Villa in Dubai just before the World Cup was on. He 'should' be back sometime later this year but some players are just never the same after doing their ACL

Dyche didn't play Gray much and he won't play off a wing as he doesn't track back enough for Dychey, so given there's a few team's in for him I think he will go too and a Harrison or Gnoto comes in...

He started on the last day as CF ahead of Maupay. Same in other games like Brentford at home.

O.k he goes, DCL chips a fingernail the day before Fulham at home and it's everyone turning up for opening game and seeing Maupay two yards off the pace yet again so that will get the protests going very early on next season.

Nothing will happen until the last day of the window. It’s Everton tradition.

Didn't McNeill come in mid July last summer? He was certainly around for the opening games albeit he wasn't very good then so I am expecting a significant attacking signing at some point in next two weeks just to give them the chance to get some understanding with others in pre season.

I mean you could start the season tomorrow with a front 3 of McNeil-DCL-Iwobi but next to nothing on the bench bar Tom Cannon having a chance to stake a claim in premier league so that's where it would all fall down.

Wonder what Cameron Archer's future is at Villa? Scored regularly at championship level, part of under 21 squad and scoring regularly there and he should get games in the cups but hard to see him getting in ahead of Watkins on regular basis.

He's more proven than Broja was last summer.

29th July for McNeil

The rest August , bar the free signing Tarkowski.

I think most Villa fans want Archer to be given a chance in the 1st team this season but I suppose that will be up to Emery. Anything I have read on Archer is that Villa value him at 25m+ and he is contracted until 2027. My feeling is that he will stay at Villa and be given an opportunity in the cup games and on the bench for the league.
