Being that beggars can't be choosers..Traore is available on a free. Doesn't score but he had a purple patch of assists when playing with a target man. Be nice to have a winger that can beat a man even he does put his cross into row z

I like Traore. We’ll be playing on the counter plenty and while his stats aren’t the best he’s also been dealing with a death of quality strikers to actually get on the end of things. Jimenez and then a 58 year old Costa aren’t great. Solve our striker problem and get him on a free if we could.

1 who is injury prone

Was thinking the same. They’ll be all that’s left. Not arsed about the players out the door, but zero incomings to replace them is getting a bit dicey. Maybe Cannon is actually good though. Who knows.

I was thinking we were going to get Joel Piroe. Now I think will be stuck with DCL and a midfielder playing the #9 role again. Thing’s definitely need to shape up because I don’t think will be so lucky this time around. We need players soon.

We still might, same as with the Leeds players we’ve been linked with. There is also the possibility of a link coming out of absolutely nowhere

There’s still 5 weeks until the Fulham game, if there’s no incomings by then, by all means panic stations but at this point last summer our only incoming was Tarkowski, the year before we didn’t sign anyone until July 20th then brought in Begovic, Townsend and Gray in the space of 2 days

I imagine he's chosen trophy chases, European football and likely gaudy figures that guarantee him a national team spot over a hard relegation slog and that seems perfectly understandable to me.

Maybe, but the PL is a more elite level competition than the Europa League these days. If you want to test yourself against the world's best, you choose the Premier League. Guess he didn't.

What if you still want to test yourself but would rather have a fighting chance of touching the ball in the final third more than every other match since the PL team doesn't play real football away from home or against anyone chasing Europe?

We arent beggars, we have sold around 85m pound of players the last 6 months.

The inaction is down to sheer incompetence of The Chairman and The DoF, plain and simple.

Fact remains we'll be left scrapping around like beggars
