Does anyone else not rate Caulker at all? Must have started every game for a team already relegated, very physical but not his biggest fan by any stretch.

I like him, but have to laugh when people talk about him going to the world cup and not Stones. However Jags + Distin in particular are not getting any younger and Alcaraz is a liabilty so long-term partnership of Stones + Caulker could be immense

Jovetic on loan would be world class, but think he'll play a big part at city next season. Lucas Piazon is another potential loanee we could look at.

I agree mate, i think city will use him a lot more next season sadly as he fits their system better than negredo or dzeko imo, but if they dont we should be all over him like a rash

That leaves us with 2 teams if Martinez wants them, 1 for cups and 1 for the league, and there's players left over in the case of injuries, and lots of room for rotation.

Sadly Chelsea have first option on him (like with most Benfica players) - so he could be a loan option in a couple of years.

Since Chelsea bought him for £17m in 2011, Lukaku's played 75 prem games and scored 31 goals. And he's only 20. He's not going to be sold for £17.5m, as much as I would love him to be.

If we can get Lukaku and Deulofeu back in on loan again for 2014 - 2015, we will be absolutely laughing. But we just don't have the money to sign them permanently.

Was absolutely nothing like 17 mil up front. No way will they have paid that much for him yet, 10 max. Plus they overpaid, they paid that for his potential, not ability. Also I put that amount as most say 15-20 mil.
