If we only brought in Tadic and Lukaku as permanent signings i would be happy. Hopefully Roberto used his quote " I hope they have a stinker of a Wc" as a smokescreen and plan's on doing his business early, in the Tadic case the world cup is of no relevance but i have no doubt Chelsea will hold on to Lukaku until the very last day in August when some team will be eager to add firepower.

The serb attack looked tremendous against the Irish mate, so much movement across the line, Matic is gonna be the core that chelsea team revolves around next season, brilliant player

Not seen many give Seamus such a torrid time as Tadic did that day either, first time in a long time someone got the better of him

Nah played a handful of sub appearances i think, dunno if he just hasn't settled or the Benfica team has that much talent in his way he has found it hard to break in, he's on my loan possibility list along with the Croatian lad at inter as their both talented but not managed to make an impression afetr moving their for decent money

Remember that they still have nico gaitan, eduardo salvio (although he dropped off a bit), Lima, ... They have a plethora of talent on the wings but i do still think he is decent

Think the difference is that Erickson has had a lot of hype from day one, coming from ajaz as well had a bot more prestige rightly or wrongly and was younger so paying for potential etc, no idea if the ownerships changed as the article im going on is from last January when he was still with the same agent mate, but as the Fer deal shows coming into the last year of a contract will knock off a lot of his asking price

Guestimate could be available for anywhere from 6-10m depending on just how bad Twente finances are right now

Yeah the players are with the same agents, but i think i read that a company had bought the players rights or a percentage of them and have a big say in who gets sold and what for.

And i get what your saying with Eriksen but still, for a player from the Eredivise entering the final year of his contract, £11m is alot of money.

IF we could get Tadic for less than 10, maybe even 8 million or less, then we'll of robbed Twente. But he's got alot of interest in him and it's not a given we'll even be in for him, but i'd like us to be.

Who's that, Kovacic (Inter)? Is he not getting games at Inter now under Mazzarri?! He was a regular before he took over and was making a real impression in Italy last season under Stramaccioni!

If he became available either on loan or a permanent deal then he'd be a cracking option, fits Martinez's criteria definitely. Young, technically brilliant, hard working and is just a pleasure on the eye.

think both the rb and cb spots may be earmarked for Browning to come through mate, with Martinez saying about not wanting to sign players that get in the way of natural talent coming through i think it's likely we won't bring any in for those, same with the cm as it's one we have both Lundstram and Ledson who are on the verge of breaking into the squad as well so can see us not clogging those areas with too many incomings

It would suggest a deal for a veteran cm like Barry or similar - who has a natural expectancy of a few years tops playing and maybe a hibbert one year deal to provide cover in emergency is maybe the way we will see it pan out

In short the areas we will more likely concentrate on are ones we don't have young players pushing on the door to come through, so striker, attacking mid/wing look the two big areas their maybe that we will see the focus on

Apparently the coach wasn't happy with him for a long period and their was a falling out, he was basically being either unused or as a sub for about 3-4 months, seems to have gotten back into the good books the past month though, still one to be on the watch for as the lads a cracking player on his day, players basically said he wasn't happy being a sub etc, sound a bit of a Mourinho type clash, coach wanting one thing playing thinking another - seems the coach won ;p

Ideal situation is if one of the young strikers can step up - IF we get lukaku could leave us sorted on strikers for the future, a big ask of them though at this stage

Tadic is not only a class act as a footballer, but I'm convinced his personality would fit in very well at Everton also. Hard working and down to earth lad, who seems to have a lot of feelings and respect to the club/supporters who he plays for. Class, pride and dignity, he's tailor made for Everton imo.
