Ideal situation is if one of the young strikers can step up - IF we get lukaku could leave us sorted on strikers for the future, a big ask of them though at this stage

I think Martinez likes the look of McAleny but since his leg break he keeps on picking up niggling little injuries. Maybe a break in the summer will do him good and we'll see him make an impact in pre season?!

Tadic is not only a class act as a footballer, but I'm convinced his personality would fit in very well at Everton also. Hard working and down to earth lad, who seems to have a lot of feelings and respect to the club/supporters who he plays for. Class, pride and dignity, he's tailor made for Everton imo.

My thoughts as well mate, been lucky enough to catch him doing a few interviews in English so far, not sure if he always does them in English or just been lucky the ones i managed to see, but everything out of him just seems to ooze respect for the club, teammates and fans, kinda the model that Martinez has outlined in potential recruits having to be of the right character for Everton like

The thing is, Martinez will give them every chance, if he thinks there good enough and ready. Some youngsters under Moyes were good enough and some were ready but never got a real look in under Moyes.

I must admit though, i think it's easier for a youngster to fit into a team that plays in a style as we do under Martinez rather than a strict, tactically rigid team like Moyesies were more often than not

Been speaking to THT on twitter about players and who we could be in for but he didnt give any names but said there's gonna be plenty of activity this summer, some exciting signings and that Lukaku is our No.1 target, which we all knew.

I asked him about Tadic aswell and he says we definitely watched him in the build up to January and that he was too pricey back then but isnt sure wether we'll revisit that one this summer?!

Also he said he wasnt sure Barry would sign on permanently either. Thinks he'll look at other options and thinks he could go elsewhere as Barry was offered a deal in Jan and wouldnt commit, so seems to think he's used us to put his name back on the map for one last big move.

Anyone follow the Championship? Wondered how Junior Hoilett has done this season? Always thought he was good technical winger maybe as a replacement for Pienaar?

Ok, I respectfully disagree. Literally ANY Everton fan could tell you Lukaku is our top target and Barry is considering his options. Anyway, each to their own mate.
