Lukaku's age was the main reason I said he could be worth the gamble in an earlier post. Obviously there's no guarantee that he'll develop into Drogba, but his goal ratio can't be knocked.

Remy would have been my ideal choice, but if he's in trouble again it could be wise to look elsewhere.
 
Can't believe some people on here saying Lukaku isn't worth over 20million, of course he is, since the beginning of last season only suarez, sturridge and van persie have scored more than him in the prem, so he's scored more than aguero and rooney, and he's only 20 for crying out loud. I don't for a second believe lukaku is worth less than 20million, it's a matter of if Martinez is willing to spend a large majority if not all of our budget on one player, which IF we do get champions league and get a huge amount more, I definitely would sign lukakau!

Yeah, he's a thoroughbred. Got it all. Massive body, excellent tekkers and the right kind of head. He's out there in the biz to wreck the entire football world. He can't possibly not be worth the investment, surely his value will soar in a short time.

It sounds grovely but if we can do well enough and stack up the cash to get the lid then we'll be blessed to have him in our presence. He's a nice guy and his passion is there for all to see, and even though he might not be a local lad or boyhood evertonian he gets what we're about. That work ethic is Everton, that.

I thought about Pato a while ago. He's a good, versatile attacking player and hasnt had the best of returns to Brazil after being shipped out on loan already but i think he'd be affordable for us and i think we'd be an interesting proposition for him.
 
alexander Poo. He's been either consistently injured or out of form for the last 3-4 years. Not worth what he'd go for, do we really need anymore sicknotes at the club?
