God, I never expected you on here taking delight in yet another loss, I'm shocked! I said, I expect defeat (And I was right - shocker) but it would just be like us to pull out a shock victory. I was mistaken, we lost, quite predictably. We conceded a goal early, heads went down, same as usual this season. We had a late rally, but it was too late.

You're fooling no-one with 'Anti-Sunderland' antics. We all know, you'd love Sunderland to prosper. You can stick to your dancing & smiley smileys it doesn't really bother me. We don't dislike you, so you can keep up your 'troll' reputation. You're not even good at it, you haven't even mentioned Gibson getting drunk and slagging us off on video, or, how some of us thought we'd push for a play-off spot this year (Not me as I'm not daft) you're slacking.

D+ for @orly must do better.

I went down last night, had a really good time, had a good drink, we're all at the 'sod it's let's just enjoy the night and see what happens' stage now. Ended up coming back with 0 points as expected. Coleman is only just in, can't expect miracles. Saturday's game v Burton is the important one, we simply can't afford to lose any ground.

Still stand by what I said a few weeks ago. I still think we'll be 'okay' by May. We need January to come round ASAP - So we can go into the transfer market and get a few loan deals in. I'm hoping Coleman goes in for that Hal Robson-Kanu who he knows well from his Wales squad, Coleman is quite a shrewd guy, he was on a tight budget at Fulham and did well, so I'm hoping he does the same with us. I'm not panicking yet, despite where we stand at the bottom, I'm worried, but I'm quietly confident we'll turn it around. But, we've got to sort our defense out, it's probably the worst back four I've seen in my entire Sunderland lifetime.

Burton are a poor team like us, but, we've definitely got a better team, especially in the attacking department, (which counts for nothing if as a team, we're not all pulling in the right direction) if we can do what we haven't done once this season, and keep it tight at the back, I expect us to score 2+ goals. But, if we concede first, we won't get anything as our heads will drop. Such an important game, make-or-break really.

Just a thought mate, he may hopefully go in for Ashley Williams lol

You're all over the shop again mate. You try your passive-aggressive 'banter' but it absolutely reeks.

'It doesn't really bother me' - seven paragraphs later....

Thoroughly enjoying you trying to defend a Sunderland side as hopeless as this on an Everton forum. Lewis Grabban will be sold in January to a promotion chasing club and to avoid the threat of liquidation (which would be a blessing, trust me).

Id like Sunderland to get their act together but I just dont see anything to suggest they will, the so called decent squad have dropped like a stone, the couple of times I have watched they have been below bang average
The defense is awful and it says something when O Shea is the rock at the back;midfield offers nothing in defence or attack and the forwards are Grabban who looks lazy so if his goals dry up he offers nothing else and Vaughan who looks a 1st division player think its going to be a very very long season

Dear me...

I think you'll find my post was very coherent mate. Also, coming from yourself (Who ends his posts with a dancing smiley) and don't think you're in any position to talk about 'banter'. I'll have a bet, you're in the age range of 16-25, you seem slightly immature if you don't mind me saying. You explained in detail, that you don't like Sunderland fans because of some "there there patter patter" (Your words not mine) although I still don't fully understand what that means and you haven't elaborated on it. Instead, when questioned on this, you just retreat to your neutral stance of 'I hate Sunderland' script then end with your dancing smiley

Yes, it doesn't bother me, this was my first post for a few days so I decided to respond to you then go on to explain my thoughts of the match last night. I dealt with your obsession with Sunderland, then I went on to give a honest assessment of our current situation.

I'm not defending Sunderland at all, if you'll take some time out of your ' Look at me, look at me I hate Sunderland' self-attention claptrap, you'll see, I've actively criticised the board, the old manager, the players, pretty much everything about how our club is run. So, again, you're talking out of your backside.

Like I said previously, you were funny at first, (I actually laughed at a few things you said - As some were true) but now you're trying too hard. You've got so much ammunition right now, but the best you can muster is....

Ha'way lad - Give it another go.

Again - and I appreciate this is difficult for you to see through your red-and-white 'I'm not angry, I'm really not!!!' haze, the emojis are only used because the absolute worst offender on here, @Sunderland afc , was notorious for using the :dance::dance: dancing emoji. It's now used by me, deeply ironically, but also with great joy as I watch a deluded Sunderland rabble (like yourself) try and defend the worst club in the Championship with an increasingly exposed fairweather support base.

As I've said, several times, I don't like Sunderland because you are the very worst of football. Gross overspending, no plan, no real reason for existence beyond a few people gorging themselves on football's excesses, a deluded, head patting fanbase with zero self-respect, and an away support that is now beyond anemic. Of course you went yesterday...

I'm not really interested in being funny for you. I'd quite like to chat with and by luck rather than judgement amuse the odd Everton fan here or there, but your bunch of toxic navel-gazers? Nah, I'd prefer to talk about your defeats and (fingers crossed) your eventual liquidation.

A club could well rise out of the malaise there, eventually. I've drawn up a blueprint for its requirements:

  • New owner (so Ellis Short doesn't have to waste any more of his money, he's tried his best)
  • New fanbase (needed immediately)
  • New club motto (something realistic)
  • New league status (perhaps something like Gateshead Sunday League of similar)
  • New fansite (something similar to GrandOldTeam.com) where instead of rep, you can all pat each other on the head. Patting points, or similar

Just a thought mate, he may hopefully go in for Ashley Williams lol

Ha! Even a poor Ashley Williams would slot straight into the Sunderland team mate, he'd instantly become our best defender, despite his terrible form for yourselves - that's not great is it? lol

I think Williams got to where he is in the game, playing for teams who play deep, (Wales & Swansea) who are used to sitting deep and being the 'defending' side most of the time. When he's gone to Everton, you like to play on the front-foot and he's been exposed as a result. I don't think he has the pace, or the tactical awareness to become a 'top defender'. Especially in Europe, when I've watched you he's been your weak-link. Just my opinion, you'll obviously know more than me about that.

Can you explain the bit on bold please? "Zero self-respect" - Can you explain why? Or, is that just one of many statements you made with no real foundation for your argument.

Actually, I did go yesterday, I do have proof. If you'll send me a private message, I'll arrange for a picture to be sent over to you. Or, we could arrange it via social media. Then, you'll have a picture of myself & my friend, so you can see if we meet your criteria of "toxic navel-gazers". Just another childish insult, you've now resorted to as you're losing this argument. It's sad to watch now...

Let me deal with your latest round of 'nonesense' via bullet points.

  • New owner (so Ellis Short doesn't have to waste any more of his money, he's tried his best) - Yes, you're bang on the money there, finally some common ground
  • New fanbase (needed immediately) - Load of rubbish
  • New club motto (something realistic) - See above
  • New league status (perhaps something like Gateshead Sunday League of similar) - Now you're hitting the bottom of the barrel and getting desperately short of ideas. You didn't really think this through did you?
  • New fansite (something similar to GrandOldTeam.com) where instead of rep, you can all pat each other on the head. Patting points, or similar - We already have one, thanks.
So, you scored 1/5 which is better than the normal 100% rubbish you spout.

I see you're still banging on about liquidation. How many times, it won't happen man. Quote me on this, please.

As mentioned before, liquidation would be a remedy for your current problems. It would be a tough medicine, sure, but probably necessary at this point. Deep down, I think you know this.

Please don't send me any pictures.

100% rubbish? I have accurately predicted the demise of Sunderland every weekend for the last two months. I'm essentially Nostradamus for the north-east failing clubs. Again, those were a set of bullet points, a roadmap for the saving of what is barely salvageable from the rotten red-and-white carcass. A failure to grasp the nettle now, and who knows?

Sunderland fans, as a fanbase, do lack the spine and self-respect to really address the main issues; just look through this thread. 'Think we'll lose this weekend'... 'Ashley Williams would be our best player lol lol' 'got a soft spot for your club' etc etc. It's head patting, we don't need it.

See how much better it is when your mask slips? A rare bit of fight-back here. Your club NEEDS this, not the invertebrate zombies who go on away trips in drips and drabs and cry about the players not coming over to clap them.

And all I am doing is helping to draw this out.
