Watching them play Cardiff, you wouldnt let an animal suffer this much pain, looks like they are going to disappear for a long long time

4-0, that win against Fulham now clearly a complete fluke.

@Safc-mark-91 Ratty it is over. It is time for liquidation. Even Coleman could not turn things around.

wow... just seen that. Poor Sunderland. I was hoping they'd be back up this year. :(

Obviously I'm absolutely delighted and hope they sink even further, but it was still a surprise.

Next two games are massive for them, Hull and Birmingham. Need 6 points to have any chance at all. Lose both and may as well start selling the furniture.

We've definitely worked hard on the defensive side of things in training as we're more of a unit now, there's a coherence to our shape and we make it hard to score against us by getting bodies back. Don't get me wrong, it's quite sobering that we're coming here and parking the bus, I'd much rather we come here, played great football and played them off the park, helping us to push for promotion. But, we've got to be realistic, this is where we are at the moment, doubt that's going to change soon unless there's a monumental change of the entire structure of the club.

We've climbed out of the bottom 3 and are defending much, much better since Coleman come in. Well done to McGeady too, he's been really off-form lately so delighted he's got the winning goal - Well done Sunderland.
Hope everyone has a good night, stay safe and get drunk  Yes, that goes for you too @orly - Have a good one mate.

what's your beef with Sunderland?

Coleman won't last long. Why he thought it was a good idea to take the job, I don't know. They will go down.

Perhaps a season in league 1 is needed. It seemed to help for a number of clubs and they were back in the top flight soon enough.
