The club opened up the ground this week to the homeless during the cold.

A very nice gesture.

They are not letting them out again though, so the ground looks full next week.
We have villa on Tuesday. This snow better go or I'll be pulling a sicky

Good point @Safc-mark-91

All other results went Sunderland's way too

Yep, we'll take it mate. Just feel like it isn't enough at this stage, we need wins. I was literally praying we could hold on having being 1-0 up for so long, that would have been an amazing result. To be fair, Millwall had 15 shots to our 2 and dominated the 2nd half completely, so we didn't deserve to win, still frustrating though. We're so unpredictable at times, we have spells of 10-15 minutes where we looked like a decent Championship team, pinging the ball from left to right, finding space, etc.. Then 10 minutes later we look like a bunch of hung-over Sunday league players - Incapable of playing a simple 5 yard pass.

Incredibly, despite how poor we've been, a couple of back-to-back wins could see us climb out of the relegation places. We're very lucky that teams around us haven't been much better than us, we should be buried by now.

I feel like Sunderland are being cruel by allowing the fans a flicker of hope, I think we were all pretty much resigned to league 1 after the Bolton defeat, then we score a dramatic last minute goal v Boro to nick a point, then we get a draw at Millwall...

If we have to go down, I really don't want it to go to the last game, that would utterly finish me off. (Along with many others). I couldn't take it, I'd much rather we go down with games to spare, so we can all mentally process it, also that would give us time to mourn properly.

It's the hope that kills you I suppose.

What`s going in your favour too, is that the nearest teams above you, aren`t pulling away from you either.

It`s all down to Coleman galvanising them now.

Yep, good point mate. We're lucky in that sense, we could easily be 7/8+ points adrift now if results had gone against us. I like Coleman, there's things he has done that I don't agree with (tactical changes or subs) but I think he's improved us 100% (that wasn't hard to be fair). If we go down, we've got to give the guy a chance to rebuild from scratch.

Like you say - Over to Coleman now.

What`s your run in like, that`ll have a lot to do with things too ?

Villa (Home)
QPR (Away)
Preston (Home)
Derby (Away)
Sheff Wednesday (Home)
Leeds (Away)
Norwich (Home)
Reading (Away)
Burton (Home)
Fulham (Away)
Wolves (Home)

That's our run in mate, I've put in bold the games I think we have chance of winning. I can see us winning 4 games, which won't be anywhere near enough. What will be interesting, last game of season we're against Wolves, by then they'll have already won the league and have nothing to play for, might even play a few youth players etc. So, potentially, if it did go to the last game, we could catch them at a good time. On the flip side, they may play a full strength team and aim to sign off their winning season in style, I suppose it's all hypothetical.

There`ll be a lot of twists and turns between now and then, plus there`s always one team above who fall off a cliff around about now, so all is not lost.
