There is absolutely no balance between Heitinga and Arteta, neither of them really pass the half way line which is a shame when you consider the benefits Arteta can bring to this area of the pitch. Both midfields are cancelling each other out but they have the better strikers which will tell in the end unless we step it up.
Yakubu needs to come on too, the ball doesn't stick with Saha up there as a lone striker and it affects our whole balance and ability to move up in possession, stymieing Arteta's influence like I mentioned before.
