I think we passed it around quite nicely at times today, there was a bit more intensity to us. I'm now more inclined to believe that our poor form this season has been largely down to the volume of fixtures we've had with the Europa League etc...

Only watched the first 55 minutes so my opinions are obviously based only on that time...

For all their possession in the first 30 mins, Howard only had one save to make (and it was a bloody good one) and the game changed in our favour when Pienaar came on. Such a shame he's not 10 years younger,I thought he was great and linked up well. Some reverse passes that I don't really remember anyone else doing for us this season.

There were a few good passing moves: the goal, Pienaar's shot that Kone flicked onto him and Kone's chance he hit at the keeper on his left.

Frustrated not to win, I haven't seen the penalty yet.

10 points from our last 12 is a good return, hopefully we can get a win against Burnley and make a push for a top half finish.

In reality mate that core has been there from the off. Moyes' apostles who could never get used to the idea the hoofball they've been weaned on has been dispensed with.

That core made their feelings known even before Kenwright secured Martinez's signature.

Fair result, how Barkley is starting games I'll never know, so indecisive on the ball, I don't mind him making wrong decisions as he will learn, but he's going backwards in his development.

I for one am a proud Moyes (everton era) "apologist" and have been firmly Martinez IN all through this season and haven't questioned his style/tactical approach. Not all us apostles are plotters Dave ffs!

I will concede there seems to be a notable correlation there though.
