I've grown to dislike him immensely. You can see him acting. And now apparently he'll be playing Napoleon as some bizarre autistic savant character he's dreamed up. Utter nonsense

"It's believed that he had some form of learning disability, possibly dyslexia. Napoleon Bonaparte – Napoleon's hypersensitivity to touch and his military strategic genius are two of the many symptoms that have led some modern scholars to suggest that he was a high-functioning autistic."

Saw the Author on GMTV few years back and they asked him about that and he said he had no problem as he thought there were no other Actor in Hollywood with Tom's prescence.
I’ve read a bit more in to it and it seems like the author may have gotten greedy and wanted Cruise’s draw over anything else.

What is certain is that he was charismatic and able to connect with his men in a very profound way, miles away from the weirdo Phoenix is portraying in those clips. I'll still go to see it like, just can't stand him tbh

Vigo Mortensen in The Road.

I like him as an actor, but he was just the wrong actor for the lead in this.

It didn’t help that they bottled the book, so it’s get a 15 rating, rather than the 18 it would‘ve got if they’d stayed true to the book.

What were they thinking ?

Surely during the test screening, someone would’ve had the stones to point this out !!!!!!

He is one of the most overrated actors of our generation imo. Struggling to think of anyone else that comes close. Was good in Requiem and when he was getting hacked to bits by Bale in American Psycho, but I've not seen him be good in anything else since
