Thank You Bill Kenwright Plane Banner

Interesting that this doesn't seem to have gotten the coverage that the anti-Kenwright plane at Southampton did in local and national media. Even the board out banners at half time vs Barnsley were shown on Sky Sports News.

Not sure if it means anything in particular, and it's possibly because the Southampton game was on BT Sport, but it's just something I've noticed.
You've got too much time on your hands if you think that is interesting

Can imagine there will be coverage in the psychiatric journals and PR reports etc about potentially clinically insane donators directed guided by club media manipulation. Possibly also content in Kopite outlets laughing at the section of our fanbase that funded this.

Well said, Blueblue, regardless of his record as chairman or anything else you may or may not like about the man professionally, he is clearly very ill indeed and for anyone to get so vitriolic about something as trivial as a banner in these circumstances is actually quite petty and mean spirited! Those who hate the man, can surely see he may not be around as chairman much longer, take comfort in that and treat the human being with a little compassion!

I'm genuinely baffled as to what he's being thanked for?

For not selling us to Sheikh Mansour? For refusing to sell us for 15 years? For us winning nothing in his tenure as owner? For us losing all of our best players over the years?

Honestly - what was the thank you for? Would he also have been thanked if he wasn't an Evertonian but had provided just as little investment?
