I remember thinking something similar in my teenage years. Very little has changed in the 30+ yrs since in the grand scheme of things.I think its the whole old fashioned ‘women should be seen and not heard’ and are brought up to be meek and mild rather than behaving like a lad.
It’s definitely not as much a thing nowadays as it was but some older women will take pride in that fact and make posts like that.
The world is becoming less and less sexist and racist and homophobic every year I reckon by the time I’m old people will just do whatever they want without worrying what anyone will say.
