I remember thinking something similar in my teenage years. Very little has changed in the 30+ yrs since in the grand scheme of things.
I like the implication I might still be in my teenage years here, if not the sentiment sadly

Whilst there are still plenty pricks around, I reckon the world is a lot more open minded than the start of my 33 years. Probably always be knob heads around I suppose though

OK- so apparently this act of pulling a shirt off empowers you, as well as getting a yellow card.

So own up, if this is empowerment which of you nasty men have been stopping women doing this up to this point, you repressive horrors. I'd ask Jenni Murray on radio 4 woman's hour for her view, but she's no longer at that man-hating BBC flagship.

On a side note ... has anybody made it into a slow motion gif yet? Asking for a friend of course. I suggested it might happen to the missus and got "the look" for my troubles.

How on Earth has this got to page 3 without @ForeverBlue92 making a comment?!

Due to his continual misdemeanours, he’s had his access limited to nothing but the Benitez thread in World Football.

If I was playing for Everton and scored a goal, the last thing I would ever do is take that royal blue shirt off.

I’ve never understood it from any players I guess, female or male.

She celebrated scoring an important goal by taking her top off, cos she is a footballer.

Not cos she is a woman.

Same way countless male footballers have taken their shirts off for the same reason.

Not cos they are a man.

Thats what empowerment is all about.

(and she was booked, again, as a man would have been.)
Not DCL - he does it for the abs and gun show. And more power to him.
