It's nothing to do with being "uncomfortable" with anything; its to do with findng your faux-outrage repulsive. I'm sure I'm not alone in that - people aren't fools. We all see the same world, the same England as you. It's just that most of us don't see ft to pursue some sort of hate agenda.

Clap clap let the Latvian murderers, the Eastern European crime gangs and the Middle Eastern hate clerics in mate. You may get a good doctor or scientist with them as well. No net needed. Great tactics that. Clap clap!

i would also love to know what british culture is btw
look around open your eyes and thank god your surrounded by it,
freedom, security and free speech might be a good place to start, when most of the globe dont enjoy them ,and those that do tend to be the ones that the British culture has had some affect on.
Do you get up fearing arrest because of your views, religion ect , going to prison without a trial?
Ask yourself this why are so many trying to get here or dream of having what we take for granted .
I could go on and on but if you cant see it, i will be wasting my time

British culture at the individual level = humour, tolerance, inventive, a global perspective, respect for individuals, good manners, class obsessed

In terms of our nation, belligerent, intolerant, aggressive, singularly the most dominant nation of the last millennium...

i'm not sure that's what efcnik was talking about though

going along those lines, I'd say that tolerance and providing support for the most needy in our society are also things i think are embedded in this country, certainly attitudes ive been brought through life with. Unfortunately the people who bleat on about Britishness are the ones who will do their best to destruct those values!

Immigrant crime rates fall in line with national ones. You wanted them to conform and they have done. What more do you want?

Lol at how much you miss the point.

An effective system would mean that the people we choose to let in, you know people we need to benefit our economy etc and who want to be here and have the means to be here in the first place like professionals and the highly skilled and educated, have a crime mate MUCH lower than the national average.

I just don't understand what more I can say. I dot think you'll ever get it.

Just going off my last post, a prominent example of that for me would be my Nan and Grandad fostering a little Jamaican girl in the 60s who I've grown up calling Auntie and her children my cousins :bye:

Great example of the British values I've grown up with

Immigration back then was worlds apart from what is now. Many people from all different races and cultures came eee for a better life and really valued being british. Now that has been diluted with uncontrolled mass immigration and we are almost ashamed of being British, something which I feel has been exploited by a lot of immigrants ( especially from a certain faith) to professionally complain and get rules changed for them. We have thousands upon thousands who do not identify at all with this country and couldn't careers about it other than the benefits that come with living here. I know it's only a small example but see how many Eastern Europeans or Muslims or whoever will be wearing the poppy- respecting the dead soldiers who died to protect te land they are living on. Few and far between. Fair play to the ones that are. It is an example of how much they just do not identify with us.

It's difficult not to get the point you are trying to make given that this goes round and round in circles.

Im not gonna list things for you to ridicule. You know EXACTLY.

Everyone else is allowed to have culture and heritage, but not the British. No. You carry on mate. Multicultural HEAVEN which dilutes British culture and heritage. No price to pay.
I'm not going to ridicule being British - I am British. However, I am interested to know what you think of as what "Britishness" is since it is the central plank to your whole position.

You bang on about this as though it is so obvious what British culture is I just thought that it would be easy for you to articulate your views. To be honest I get the impression you either cannot or are scared to.

Most Brits are not very tolerant, they're just too upright to say it too your face and have little perspective outside the town they grew up in, let alone outside of the UK. As for humour, as Brits we think we're great at this when in fact we use this passive aggressive cynicism to hide how awkward and uptight we are
