In my supermarket, 2 pints is about 90p, but 4 pints is about £1.30. Dont really understand that. Wish it was the same with ale though.
Tesco it's £1 for 4 pints and £1.48 for 6 (I drink a lot of milk)
We dont, just in tea, so 4 pints would go off. Oh, and sauces and that. You must have a big fridge to keep 6 pints!
Goes in the door. The bottle is the same width as the 4 pint one, just a bit longer (ffs mate - talking milk bottle sizes on a Friday night, that can't be good lol)

CRIMINAL. And I mean really CRIMINAL.
Oh how I wish there wasn't a swear filter on this forum
It's not that bad is it? I've just been onto Tesco and 4 pints of the following drinks work out at roughly:
Milk £1
Water ~50p
Orange Juice ~£2.30
Cola ~£2.42
Beer ~£2.80
I didn't go with the Tesco value stuff so you can no doubt get things a bit cheaper, but milk fairs pretty well next to other beverages imo.

Depends which side of the fence you sit.
Oh, you mean the farmer is getting squeezed?

Put it this way .... there's a massive space where my nuts were.
Cost of production 28-30 pence per litre
Current value on farm 21 to 25 ppl depending on contract.
If this carries on much longer, there wont be a UK dairy industry and we can all rely on other countries for our pinta, cheese AND PIZZA toppings.
Someone is taking the p!ss
It's nothing more than Tory bashing for the sake of Tory bashing
You know full well that you've accused various other members on here of being moles sent by the EDL and their ilk to pollute the waters, yet those same tactics of belligerent propaganda are applied by someone you happen to agree with and it's all a ok. It's a terrible way of debating from both sides.
If someone is interested in better outcomes then they'd laud a good idea or a good outcome regardless of where it came from. That never happens though does it? Not once. I happen to think that's wrong.
I apologised for making things personal several posts later, but I'm not going to apologise for not thinking post after post of baiting and sniping is in any way constructive.
As for your last comment, that's completely Dan's call. Like all of us, I'm only a guest of his on this place.
Depending on your sources, pretty much sell at cost to the large suppliers. Farmer down the road from me sold his dairy herd a few years back. But his neighbour does very well from his meat herd.
