I don't understand how people can completely fail to recognise that the NHS is underpinned by immigration in terms of health professionals.

A limit on immigration does not mean a limit on immigration of skilled health workers. It's not like anyone is proposing closed borders.

Surprised, to be honest. He'll never be a natural orator or particularly convincing debater, in my opinion, even though I rate him quite highly as a politician these days.
