"We need policies that reject Tory cuts, regenerate the economy and improve the lives of ordinary people. We are not getting this from Labour. There is no doubt that some of Labour's past achievements have been remarkable – the welfare state, the NHS; a redistributive economy making unprecedented levels of health and education possible. But such achievements are in the past. Now Labour embraces cuts and privatisation and is dismantling its own great work. Labour has failed us. Nothing shows the contrast more clearly than The Spirit of '45."

You have quoted an opinion that you are entitled to buy into. It is no different to any of the posturing of any of the other parties. It doesn't spell out how the Greens will achieve their goals.

As much as I would love to be living in the end result, a instant lurch so far to the left is neither realistic or sensible.

The Green Party are developing nicely from the specialist lobby group that they once were. Their credibility on many issues is increasing and I think that their voice is a valid one. I would welcome much of it at Westminster. They are unfortunately a long way off knowing how to run a country.

I'm not sure you understand how parliament works and you definitely have no idea of the issues which the residents in the constituency I live in face.

Ok, well maybe you can educate me then, you know because you obviously have a balanced and impartial view on all things politics and just so I'm not humiliated again - Labours, (Miliband and Balls'), economic strategy and plans will have no bearing on you or the people in the constituency you live?

It just seems at odds when you criticise Cameron and Osbourne's economic strategy ad nauseam, yet seem to dismiss Miliband and Balls strategy, (that are unknown), as not relevant to you?

It's clear I don't understand how parliament works, I mean I'm voting for the candidate local to me who I think will do the best job and clearly don't understand how economic policies work? Are there any other constituencies in the UK that are not effected by government spending cuts and economic policies?

Let the education commence !

Not really what we need from the so called 'best and brightest' is it? They carried on like they were in a university common room.
To me they are all of the same stock, career politicians who avoid answering anything,a case of do as i say not as i do

Hang on. Boris came on like a drunken, finger-pointing buffoon and Ed kept his cool and handled him superbly. To try to make out that they were both as bad as each other is quite ridiculous. That said, I didn't see much apart from the last ten mins of the programme.

Sorry for calling your man poor, I appreciate that's hard. Boris is a buffoon. A smart buffoon, but a buffoon none the less. Milliband didn't answer the rambling question about the way he handled non doms when in office, and the whole segment was both of them talking over one another.

That Ed was more polished in doing so doesn't make the affair any more edifying.
