The Greens cant run Brighton, let alone the country.

The council has certainly had a few issues, although it has also had its successes, but Caroline Lucas will probably retain her seat, so I'm not sure they have done as badly as the press would have everyone believe.

Wasnt "The press" I heard it from. It was The Greens.

There were two of them from the council arguing, basically, about who was "greener". They even had different shades of green. One was pale, one was dark or something. Odd.

I've heard similar stories about the council. The guy who runs it is not very well thought of by a lot of other Greens.

Lucas still looks likely to retain her seat though, and was MP of the year last year.

I'd agree with the general point they're nowhere near ready to govern, but the issues they push need more attention.

Agree mate. They have some laudable aims, but delivery seems to be a problem!

Is there a reason Lucas isn't party leader? She comes across as far more knowledgeable and likeable.

The PSNI are investigating him, last week he stated that gay couples were more likely to assault children as they were not in a stable relationship. Last night he was canvassing and he called at a lesbian couples house, it appears he abused them, again the PSNI are on the case. I think that being a creationist should not stop him from holding office but holding such views about gay people should. He is also our Minister of Health and is responsible for our health service.
