So statesmanlike.

Can imagine Obama is preparing one as we speak.

Wonder what is meant by "Working Families"?

Personally, I disagree. I take your point with Sachs, but I do think he has a lot to say about important issues. I also think he can resonate with lots of young people who are not sure who to vote for, though.

That is all well and good, but celebrity endorsements of parties simply don't sway elections. Never have and never will.

Interesting stat from the Clegg/Hallam poll questions:

Putting aside individual candidate names and the context of the situation which party will or have you voted for?

Labour 29%
Lib Dem 22%
Conservative 16%

The headline figure is now looking to me to be a complete red herring.

Labour are going to take that seat...handily, IMO.

They'll have done well.

http://www.theguardian.com/commenti...clegg-sheffield-hallam-general-election-video Pretty sure John Harris says in this that Clegg holds it by 15k.

Very good series that on the Guardian there too for anyone to give it a look.

The old race card eh, i was waiting for this one. This usually means you are losing the debate.
I think "having the race card played against you" signifies a lot more tbh.
But hey, some people will just be thick bigots no matter how clear things are laid out in front of them.
