This is Bizarro World politics.

Exit Polls point to the Tories falling ten seats short of winning an overall majority yet they are behaving as if they were being elected on a landslide.

And in this euphoria they are being aided and abetted by idiot TV pundits, most noticeably the totally idiotic Jeremy Vine.....who is trying to do an impersonation of Peter Snow.

.....the current prediction is much better than the pre-election polls were forecasting.

What's the feeling you got?

Labour would win by a few points, it was by far the best run local campaign office I've ever worked with. I was far more worried about Warrington South which ive also been to, it looked very bleak. Despite the horror show of them exit polls Labour are still expected to gain Warrington according to the BBC. Confused to say the least.

Since 2010 the Conservative and Unionist Party has caused enormous division within the United Kingdom, battling nation against nation and individuals against individuals.

God only knows what further divisions will be created with a EU referendum to come.

They're presiding over the social, economic and political division of the Kingdom.

and yet they are thinking of signing up with the tories again, surely better to try and rebuild, the only reason for doing the same again can be personal gain for their top bods

You'd think so, but Clegg is a whore - he'd bend over for Cameron in a heartbeat if they only get about 10 seats.

Hilarious viewing this though.

tories now tipped to take Thanet South.. could be a crucial extra seat for them.

to be honest, at this stage I am rooting for a narrow Tory overall majority.

Because as things stand the dinosaurs of the DUP are licking their lips at the prospect of propping Cameron up and openly talking about "exacting a price"

This "price" will include re-igniting the Ulster conflict with what they euphimistically call a "right to march" charter which in effect means playing the Orange card to have the LOL march down Catholic areas, stymie Gay equality issues and refuse a woman an abortion no matter what her circumstances may be regarding her mental or physical health.

Added to that they believe the earth is 6000 years old.

:whip:

perhaps, but this is a consequence of them picking a side
