Labour would win by a few points, it was by far the best run local campaign office I've ever worked with. I was far more worried about Warrington South which ive also been to, it looked very bleak. Despite the horror show of them exit polls Labour are still expected to gain Warrington according to the BBC. Confused to say the least.

She could (any possibly will) lose her seat - because it's so tight, it's near impossible for the exit poll to predict it correctly.

to be honest, at this stage I am rooting for a narrow Tory overall majority.

Because as things stand the dinosaurs of the DUP are licking their lips at the prospect of propping Cameron up and openly talking about "exacting a price"

This "price" will include re-igniting the Ulster conflict with what they euphimistically call a "right to march" charter which in effect means playing the Orange card to have the LOL march down Catholic areas, stymie Gay equality issues and refuse a woman an abortion no matter what her circumstances may be regarding her mental or physical health.

Added to that they believe the earth is 6000 years old.

Thats why a Tory minority government is the best possible outcome - if they dont have to satisfy the whims of the DUP and their own euroskeptic wing they probably will only be able to maintain things as they are, and not make things worse.

Since 2010 the Conservative and Unionist Party has caused enormous division within the United Kingdom, battling nation against nation and individuals against individuals.

God only knows what further divisions will be created with a EU referendum to come.

They're presiding over the social, economic and political division of the Kingdom.

Blair and Brown did their bit with half arsed devolution........

Ah well. Many though we were going to see a weak Labour minority propped up by the SNP. It looks like now we will have a weak Tory minority propped up by the DUP. Hopefully, it won't last long.

Is right lads. All them Mold heads have got themselves out of the Wetherspoons.

Mold is basically an almost all-pub town, its great and has been ever since Woolworths closed and all the scouse kids had nowhere to nick stuff out of during trips to Colomendy.

Good point. Putting the battles aside, there is serious constitutional reform required now. Our system was never designed to deliver decisive majorities with 3 or 4 major parties in the running, and where a 10th of the seats are now under SNP control. Unless we change the system I doubt that either Cons or Lab will be able to deliver a majority in 5 years, 10 years.. you name it.

Tooting result:

LAB - 47.2% (+3.7)
CON - 41.9% (+3.4)
GRN - 4.1% (+2.9)
LDEM - 3.9% (-10.9)
UKIP - 2.9% (+1.6)

0.2% swing from Con to Labour.

0.2%! What is happening?

You'd think so, but Clegg is a whore - he'd bend over for Cameron in a heartbeat if they only get about 10 seats.

Hilarious viewing this though.

It won't happen. Clegg is on his way out and the LDs need to rebuild. They won't join the Tories again.

The Jocks will be looking another referendum if this EU referendum is decided by UKIP, Tory Eurosceptics and the right wing press.

And they will win the vote next time.

That's nothing - if it was a good night, that'd be 2%+.
